The Orchards @ Anderson Heights Homeowners' Blog

The Official blog of The Orchards @ Anderson Heights – made by homeowners, for homeowners

Grand opening

Hello – welcome to TheOrchards.WordPress.com!  My family and I decided that we would create this site/blog to enable the community to share ideas, thoughts, concerns, and any thing else you have in mind.  Here you can write about the good, the bad and the ugly.  The goal for this site is to allow the home owners and renters of the Orchards @ Anderson Heights to communicate directly to one another and to the Board of Directors of the HOA.

Let your voice be heard.  I encourage everyone; home owner, tenant and resident to create a username on WordPress.com and contribute to the site.  Create a username by clicking here – for complete sign-up instructions, go to http://theorchards.wordpress.com/how-to-contribute/

This site is for you and for us – please let me know what direction you would like this site to take, the content you wish to see, and please let me know if you would like additional pages or links added.  I would like to hear from everyone – I want to know if you like the idea of this site and if you like the site’s look and feel…  all comments are welcome.

There will be some level of moderation – I will not approve any posts or comments that contain profanity.  That being said, Welcome to the unofficial website of the Orchards Community. Feel free to email me any time: theorchards@gmail.com. Thank you.

Enjoy and have fun!

Chris

Interesting article on the neighborhood watch….is there one available for our neighborhood? …Considering the gate has been open for a month now.

I have not heard of one in our neighborhood… I will be more than happy to help out in setting one up in any way I can – just let me know what I can do.

Great idea to get this going, got the website off one of the mailboxes. I’ve noticed several homes on Gentry with bars on the windows now. If you’re interested here is a link where you can see criminal activity in Bernalillo County.

    Hi all,

I just wanted to mention that APD is willing to come out to see anyone who would like to begin a neighborhood watch. If any of you are serious about starting one, please let me know and I’ll send you the contact information so we can get started.

I am hoping that some of our financial issues will be resolved soon so we can get the gate closed and equipped so that future acts of vandalism are avoided. I know it’s nerve racking to see that gate open every day. I know it is for me.

    Robert
