Meeting Tomorrow! Who’s Going?

Just reminding people that there is an Orchards meeting tomorrow at Atrisco Heritage Academy HS at 6PM.

Since I don’t have to work (amazing), I will be there :)

I’ll be looking forward to seeing and meeting everyone…

    I’ll be there.

It’s been nice to see that the number of complaints about things has really dropped since we made the change to enTrust. I’m almost having “issues” withdrawals…..

Just wondering how the meeting went? And I saw a sign at the pool listing “kiddie” swim from 2-4 on Thurs… what ages do those hours apply to? I’d love more details. Thanks!

  3. Jenn says:

I was unable to attend the meeting due to my son’s baseball and was wondering the same thing, how the meeting went? Thanks!

Even though I left 15 minutes early, I thought the meeting was another great way to get information and understand where our assessments are going and how the new management company is handling the day-to-day stuff.

I wanted to stay for the entire meeting, but had a previous commitment – I wanted to tell the Board that you are doing a great job and Thank you!

I think opening up the meetings to other homeowners is great transparency and gives me a better feeling of what’s going on.

It was great to see other homeowners interested in the community as well… a lot of the topics discussed in the meeting have probably been discussed in great length on this blog, but that just shows that everyone doesn’t follow the blog as much as I or others. And that’s OK :)

Some of the things I remember being talked about were…
-the replacement of rock around the pool
-addition of a sign outside the gate for posting information
-what to do about kids jumping over the fence at the pool (spikes on top of fence)
-The gates on the W entrance are painted
    -Landscaping backyards
    -New parking rules
    What am I forgetting? :)

Anyways – I feel fortunate to live where we do. And my final thought, I think enTrust is a great and very able company to do the job they were hired for!

I agree with Robert, it was refreshing to see a more positive meeting – we were a little disappointed when we realized we should have left our pitchforks at home (ha ha) We got there a little late, and missed the first half hour. Might there be a way to get the minutes?

  6. Mark says:

The kiddie swim is meant for kids 10 and under, and they need to be accompanied by a parent or guardian. If the kiddie swim goes unused in June, we’ll change the hours and stop paying a guard to be there to enforce it…but I have a feeling that some parents will like and use it. :)

Yes, we’ll be getting the minutes posted as soon as enTrust gets them to us so we can approve them. It might not happen until our next meeting with enTrust…it all depends on the number of things going on both with enTrust and within the Community.
