Building To Order

For the Journal… Currently at The Orchards at Anderson, seven floor plans are available, three of which are open daily as model homes for viewing. With base prices starting in the $130s and topping out in the $160s, the new homes are attracting the attention of first-time and move-up home buyers, as well as those who are thinking about downsizing into a new, smaller home, says sales counselor Richard Johnson.
The neighborhood is served by the new Atrisco Heritage High School.
While KB Home at the Orchards at Anderson offers about 90 remaining building sites for new homes on this westernmost boundary of Albuquerque, the area already has the feel and appearance of a well-established neighborhood thanks to the first phase of KB Homes’ construction push, which lasted from 2005 to 2008. During that time, approximately 400 KB homes in the community were built, and landscaping has become well established during the interim. A grassy park, basketball court, playground and community swimming pool already serve area residents. Panoramic landscape views of both the Sandia and the Manzano mountain ranges are visible, along with the skyline of Albuquerque. …
