Tree Planting

I have a question. Spring is around the corner and Im ready to continue my landscaping project. Im curious to know if I can plant some trees along the sidewalk. I figure that we are responsible for cleaning the sidewalks or the sections adjacent from our acutal yards so why not get to plant some trees or shrubs.

Is this possible?

That’s a great question. The short answer is, “No.” You are correct that rocks are each owner’s responsibility, including cleanup of rocks that spill out of the “buffer zone” (the section between the gutter and the sidewalk)… But, no plants, shrubs, or trees may be planted in that area. The reason is that once an owner sells a house where those items been planted in the buffer zone, the HOA must assume responsibility for them – such responsibility can’t be passed to the next owner.

    I hope this answer helps!

Does anyone know of any good landscapers? We purchased our home last year and we are in the process of landscaping our backyard we want to put a cement slab. If anyone has any ideas please let me know. I am also looking for rose bushes and maybe a couple of fruit trees.
    Thanks
