Speed Bumps

Hi,

Can you please list the locations where the speed bumps are going in?  Thank you!

Click here to download the PDF. Note that there were four speed humps added after the map was drawn out.  There are two on Maness and Fraizer roads.

I do hope speed bumps are going to be added on Humphries at McKinnon. Once vehicles turn onto Humphries headed east, they are going a lot faster than 30 mph. Once past this intersection you head into a blind curve. There a quite a few children that play in the street, it’s an accident waiting to happen.

Hey guys! Great job with the speed bumps! I like that they aren’t straight across.

Is it possible to notify the community if speed bumps will be installed on Duerson? I drive a car that is low to the ground and will not clear the large speed bumps. Luckily I live right off Duerson and can leave/enter the community through the homeowners gate.

The other day they had that gate shutdown and I had an important meeting to get to. I attempted to go over the speed bumps and damaged my car by high centering it on one of them. I eventually had to wait 15 minutes until maintenance was done to exit.

My car is not lowered, it comes low from the factory (350z). Please let me know if speed bumps are being installed on this street ahead of time and I will begin the search for a new home…I don’t think I should have to get a new car just because these speed bumps are so big. Personally I think large speed HUMPS would have been a better option to install without any advance notice.

    Thanks,

    Matt,
All the speed humps are in… no additional humps are going in.

The Board approved the installation of humps (5′ wide and 3″ tall) at the end of Feb. There were many posts asking people where they thought the humps should go (or not go).

(if you take my road up to the main gate you should only have to go over 1 hump. I’ve also found that going over them directly in the center is a good way to not bottom out.)

    Chris :)
